Your adventure begins as we paddle across the ocean, weaving our way past seabird colonies, playful seals, and the rugged shoreline of Spectacle Island. Along the way, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of Nova Scotia’s most stunning white-sand beaches — including the iconic Carter’s Beach, famous for its turquoise shallows and soft, powdery sand.

As we make our way toward Port Mouton Island, the scenery only gets better. Once ashore, you’ll enjoy a delicious, locally prepared lunch.  Afterward, take time to explore the island’s wild beauty — stroll its beaches, wander through the coastal landscape, or simply relax and soak in the peace and quiet that only a remote island can offer.

Full Moon Paddle

As we ease onto the water, the river settles into a peaceful hush, illuminated by soft moonlight dancing across the surface. It’s a stunning setting for a slow, meditative paddle — one that invites you to breathe deeply, unwind, and let the quiet beauty of the night wash over you.

Along the way, your guide will share local history, folklore, and a few ghostly tales rooted in the region’s past. The stories feel a little more alive when told under a glowing moon, with the silhouettes of shoreline trees and reflections shimmering all around.

PADDLERS SHOULD BRING: A change of clothing (non-cotton-quick drying, is best), water/wet shoes, sun/bug protection: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray/lotion, long sleeves, a bottle of water. 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Cancellations received up to 48 hours before your tour/clinic/rental reservation will receive a refund of the full amount paid.

Cancellations received within 48 hours of your tour/clinic/rental reservation will receive a credit of the value of the tour to be used during the same operating season.
​
If no notice of cancellation is given, no refund or credit will be issued.

We reserve the right to cancel paddle tours due to dangerous weather (lightning or high winds), guide availability or insufficient registration. In these cases, full refunds or credits (if you wish).
