Rental Policy
- Rental fees must be paid in full before release of equipment.
- Reservations must be paid in full to hold equipment.
- Rentals can be picked up at our store any time from open to closing and must be returned the same time on the following day or as agreed to for multi-day, weekly or monthly rentals.
- Renter is fully responsible for the repair or replacement of any lost, damaged or stolen equipment. Any lost or damaged equipment will be charged at retail price to the renter.
- Renter must agree to terms & conditions of waiver.
- Renter must have a valid ID and matching Credit Card.
- Renter must agree to Credit Card Authorization.
- LAO reserves the right to refuse service based on circumstances such as and not limited to; weather, paddling experience, physical condition.
- Renters must be 19 years or older.
- All bikes are inspected and serviced after every rental by an LAO bike mechanic.
- All boats are inspected after every rental by LAO Staff.
LATE RETURNS: Rentals returned late will be charged a late fee, double the rental rate, per boat, per each day late.
CLEANING FEE: Rentals that require a “deep clean” will be subject to a $25 cleaning fee (this includes and is not limited to situations such as, mud, pet hair, fish scales, etc from fishing.)
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Cancellations received up to 48 hours before your tour/clinic/rental reservation will receive a refund of the full amount paid.
Cancellations received within 48 hours of your tour/clinic/rental reservation will receive a credit of the value of the tour to be used during the same operating season.
If no notice of cancellation is given, no refund or credit will be issued.
TRANSPORTATION OF RENTAL EQUIPMENT:
- Rentals can be picked up at location and used off-site.
- LAO has bike racks, soft racks and ratchet straps available for rent.
- Renter is responsible for securing equipment.
- Renters will transport equipment at their own risk.
