Join us for 10 days filled with adventure, fun and discovery – in Costa Rica! We’ve carefully created this entire adventure with one goal in mind - to give you a unique, authentic and intimate taste of the “Tico” culture, celebrated and enjoyed by the locals and shared with pride as we explore and dine alongside them.
Together we’ll transition through very distinct micro climates while exploring the rainforest, caves and waterfalls and spending time along beautiful beaches, surrounded by the diverse and abundant wildlife of this magical country.
Travelling as a small group we’ll be totally immersed in the experience of a lifetime. First hand and up close, you’ll feel, smell, and hear the power and natural wonder while kayaking, surfing, embarking on a volcano hike, a jungle hike and a canopy tour, and buckle up for our thrilling white-water rafting adventure.
We fell in love with Costa Rica, making many friends along our travels, who can’t wait to share their country with you. We will travel to various parts of the country, staying in luxury accommodations, giving you an intimate opportunity to sample, learn about and admire the Costa Rican rich and diverse culture, cuisine, climate, geology and recreational opportunities.

Day 1 - 6
HELLO BEAUTIFUL COSTA RICA
We’ll begin with your arrival in Costa Rica.
Your Liverpool Adventure Outfitters Guide and our private driver will greet you at the airport in Liberia (LIR).
We will travel to the luxury accommodation where you can get settled in and relax after a day of travel.
You'll spend the next several days exploring and discovering the natural treasures that Costa Rica has to offer, with your guides.
Evenings can be spent enjoying a leisurely dip in our private pool, or enjoying beautiful sunsets from our balcony overlooking the majestic Arenal Volcano.
From our base in the Guanacaste hills, we'll spend the days exploring and kayaking discovering the jungle wildlife of the region by way of a hanging bridges canopy tour, hiking to breathtaking waterfalls, and experiencing a jungle hike (possibly a night jungle hike!). We also have unscheduled time for exploration and relaxation.
You can expect to hear Howler monkey calls, and bird songs.
Day 7 - 10
TIME TO HIT THE BEACH
We will move to our fabulous private beachfront vacation home exquisitely situated on a pristine sandy beach on the Pacific Coast, within a National Park! Our Costa Rican beach property features open spaces, amazing sunsets, and best of all, an incredible uncrowded beach as your front yard!
Enjoy a private boat excursion, snorkel, SUP, explore secluded beaches, and maybe even try for a fish or two!
Our 10 Day Tour Package includes:
- 9 nights’ accommodations in unique and comfortable accommodations.
- All meals! From dinner upon arrival to breakfast on departure day, many prepared by our local hosts and their culinary team. Plan to sip, savour and soak up the local culinary delights!
10 Day Package includes: 9 Breakfasts / 8 Lunches / 9 Dinners - All transfers and transportation is included and provided by private services with our experienced Costa Rican drivers for our group of up to 10 guests.
- All tours and guides! You'll be in good hands with our combination of Liverpool Adventure Outfitters Guides and our Partners and Guides in Costa Rica. Liverpool Adventure Outfitters guides accompany guests 24/7.
- Once we meet you at the airport, you can relax and enjoy your trip – we’ll curate your adventure every step of the way!
- Your safety, security and comfort is our priority. LAO Guides/Trip Leaders possess current First Aid certification, Paddle Canada trained, and led tours in Canada for Liverpool Adventure Outfitters as well as participated in and successfully completed on-site training leading tours in Central America.

TRAVEL STYLE: Active (hiking, kayaking, white water rafting)
TRAVEL TYPE: Small group experience (max 10 people)
AGE REQUIREMENT: Open Tours ALL participants must be 16 years of age or older. 19 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Private Tours are open to all ages (child care not provided by LAO)
MEALS: We can accommodate for food sensitivities & special diets. Our culinary team prepares meals in-house. We will also dine in some local restaurants in Costa Rica.

FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS: Please book flights from your departing airport to arrive in Liberia (LIR) in Costa Rica
