Oversized items or dangerous goods do not qualify for shipping. Such items can be purchased in-store or purchased for store pick up at LAO.
We ship in-stock products to you within 1-2 business days and charge your credit card for these items plus shipping (if applicable).

Most items you can order online for pick up at Liverpool Adventure Outfitters location at 4003 Lighthouse Route, Hwy 3, Brooklyn, Nova Scotia
We’ll hold your order for 14 days, after 14 days your order will return to inventory and a refund will be issued.
Store Pick Up Procedure
Place order, select “pick up in store”
Wait for a “Ready for Pick-up" email
Make sure you wait for our email before heading to the store.
We’ll do our best to have your items ready for pick up the next business day.
Collect your order inside at LAO. You may be asked to show us your photo ID to claim your order. You may also be asked to present the credit card associated with your order.
We encourage you to use your tracking number to follow orders.
Post office boxes, rural or remote locations may take longer.
Some remote locations in Canada are not eligible for shipping.
No Shipping available to outside of Canada
Oversized Items may include, but are not limited to:Bikes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, canoes, paddles, footwear, helmets, large hiking packs, tires and bulky accessories.
Shipping delivery standards
We base delivery times on normal delivery conditions. As a result, delivery times are subject to change without notice. We may change or suspend the on-time delivery guarantee during the peak period due to causes beyond our reasonable control.

Can someone else pick up my order? Yes. When you place the order, include the name of your designated “pickup person” and remind them to bring a photo ID, so we can make sure we’re handing over your order to the right person.

Easy returns and exchanges
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll gladly exchange or refund most products within 30 days from the date of purchase with the original receipt, depending on the type of product and the condition of its return. The fastest and easiest way to return an item is by bringing it to the store.
Check that contents like manuals, blank warranty cards and other items are included as well as all accessories.
Returning items by mail
What you should know:
Liverpool Adventure Outfitters does not pay for mail returns except in cases when there was an issue with the order fulfillment or if the product is defective.

Once we’ve received the item, we’ll process a refund to your original payment method within 14 business days, please note during busier periods this can be slightly delayed.
Digital Downloads, Gift Certificates and Gift Cards can not be exchanged or returned.
For hygiene reasons, items such as face masks, socks, bike shorts, are not eligible for returns or exchanges unless they are unworn and unused and still have their original packaging or tags intact.
Liverpool Adventure Outfitters reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in our policies at any time and in LAO’s sole discretion. All decisions made by LAO about whether an item is eligible or ineligible for return are final.
